Responsible for the setup, configuration, and operation of Rockler's Customer Order Management System. Works with business units in analyzing functional requirement across all omni channel sales channels in providing our customer base with the best possible shopping experience. Leverages out-of-boxes functionality whenever possible in transforming business requirements into actual technical specifications. Collaborates frequently with the Backoffice Development team in designing system interfaces with all Legacy applications in preserving/enhancing the integrity/functionality of all master/production operational data.

DUTIES:

  • Analyze, design, test and install high performance and cost-effective out-of-box application configurations to meet the information needs of the company.
  • Enhance information results by constantly re-evaluating and defining new cost-effective solutions that boosts productivity and compliance. Provides cost proposals as supporting documentation.
  • Oversees the production operation of Customer facing applications as it relates to setup, configuration, data integrity and functionality. Supports Call Center, POS, and Ecommerce.
  • Manages subscription licenses in accordance to the product's software definitions. Verifies all licenses are actively being used and provides monthly utilization reports.
  • Develops one-time and production reports requested by users using appropriate report generating programming software. Works with Reporting administrator in documenting new project data attributes that need to be carried forward into data warehouse/mart.
  • Acts as primary interface with Systems Setup Partner in managing and customizing Dynamics Commerce.
  • Manages ISV partners. I.e., Taxes, Payment, Messaging.
  • Analyzes and assists users in testing vendor software upgrades and version releases prior to production implementation.
  • Provide project management to establish project scope, goals, schedules, milestones, issue resolution, communication, test, implementation, and training for assigned projects.
  • Provide end-user software training as needed.
  • Provides weekly status reports to IT Director on active projects.
  • Assists in completing annual PCI SAQ. Works with IT Security Governance in making sure all project activity is complying with Security Framework.
  • Complies with Help Desk Support Service Level Agreements in responding to issues and completing support tickets during core business hours and after hours. Provides good customer service to phone calls, emails, and support tickets, to include frequent follow-up and status updates on open issues.
  • Actively communicates and works withs Backoffice Application Development team with project initiatives requiring system interface support, problem resolutions, testing and/or master data. Communicates regularly on status and progress with Enterprise Development Manager.
  • Actively engages Computer Operations and Ecommerce group with project initiatives comprised of problem solving, designs, testing and/or implementations.
  • Adheres to department System Development and Change Management Policy for project development and production implementation; obtain signoffs from the appropriate client and files correspondence in project folders.
  • Protects organization data by keeping information confidential.
  • Continue to learn, with increasing depth, more sophisticated technological tools and techniques that will aid and better position Company in its day-to-day operation. Attend educational workshops, review professional publications, and participate in professional societies to establish personal network and benchmark state-of-the-art practices.
  • Establish and maintain documentation procedures for area of responsibilities to be shared with other team members. Documents repetitive maintenance activities.
  • Complete assigned project work on time and within budget.
  • Provides annual budgetary information to IT Director as it relates to your responsibilities.
  • Perform all duties in a manner which meet company performance and behavior expectations.
  • Continue to learn, with increasing depth, more sophisticated technological tools and techniques that will aid and better position Company in its day-to-day operation. Attend educational workshops, review professional publications, and participate in professional societies to establish personal network and benchmark state-of-the-art practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science and/or 6+ years of experience in similar capacity.
  • Experience in omni-channel retailing: ecommerce, call center, point of sale using some form of Order Management System comparable in functionality as Microsoft Dynamics Commerce for 365.
  • Served as a Functional Analyst in transforming business requirements in to out-of-box requirements. Requires hands-on experience in configuring and testing system setup changes.
  • Experience in working with relational database concepts. MS SQL and SQL Server Reporting Services, and familiarity with Power BI and Tableau a plus.
  • Displays a high degree of motivation, dedication, and team orientation.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects at a time, and regularly meets all deadlines. Demonstrates willingness to go beyond the normal call of duty.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills with strong customer focus.
  • Adept process, project management, problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Displays high level of attention to details, specifically as it relates to organization skill, data integrity and project time management.
  • Fully understands the value of providing the highest standard of customer service.
  • Innovative thinker, with a unique ability to get to the root cause of the problem and execute a workable solution, always looking for value-added results by leveraging technology.
