Manages the enterprise operation of all Computer Hardware, System Software, System Security and Network Connectivity to support company business applications. Engineers and implements system software tools, hardware, policies, and procedures for ensuring system performance, availability, security, and scalability of computer production environment. Oversees Help Desk support of all end-user technical issues and service requests.

  • Conducts annual performance / job description reviews of employees. Defines clear goals and quantitative performance measurement metrics for employees.
  • Performs all duties in a manner which meets company performance and behavior expectations.
  • Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees and developing personal growth opportunities.
  • Enhances information results by constantly re-evaluating and defining new cost-effective solutions in delivering and supporting information systems.
  • Hosts weekly staff meetings to discuss staff project activities, previous week SLAs, trouble ticket resolutions, and trends.
  • Works with Data Architect in supporting hardware and software resource needs.
  • Actively supports IT Enterprise Development Manager and Ecommerce group with project initiatives that require special hardware and software requirements.
  • Provides Level 1-5 technical support during normal and non-business hours for end-users and third party service providers on computer related issues. Acts as level 4 support on escalated and P1 issues.
  • Defines appropriate production turnover controls for staff to monitor in verifying the system health of critical business processes.
  • Ensures all production transfers are communicated and approved by business stakeholders and Director of IT.
  • Provides support to end users in researching and procuring new services, hardware, and software programs to support their specific information technology needs/requirements.
  • Reviews and validates any necessary security reports and audit responses from 3rd party security scanning and penetration tests in ensuring that the company is compliant with all applicable regulations deemed critical to the operation of the company.
  • Acts as point of contact to any security intrusion detection response reported by Security Operation Center. Actively protects company information technology assets and infrastructure from external or internal security threats.
  • Regularly tests security framework from a quality assurance in meeting all policies and procedures. Formulates a strategic risk mitigation plan with IT Director in posturing the company against future security breaches.
  • Works with security incident response team in ensuring a proper security action plan is in place should there be a security breach.
  • Annually completes company PCI Self-Assessment Questionnaire.
  • Actively protects company information technology assets and infrastructure from external or internal security threats.
  • Works with Director of IT to develop a strategic plan that is aligned with company goals.
  • Directs the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of all IT infrastructure including software, hardware, security, network, and telecommunications operations.
  • Establishes IT policies and procedures to ensure consistent and reliable data processing, reporting, storage, and security. Provides compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
  • Develops and maintains effective internal and external business relationships. Develops proposals, solicits bids, and negotiates services with outside providers.
  • Assists in the preparation of Information Technology's annual IT budget and develops expense controls that ensure the budget's adherence. Consults with department heads to determine their technology needs and budgets.
  • Safeguards assets by planning and implementing disaster recovery and backup procedures.
  • Maintains a safe and healthy working environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards, adhering to legal and safety regulations.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Continues to learn, with increasing depth, more sophisticated technological tools and techniques that will aid and better position Company in its day-to-day operation. Attends educational workshops, reviews professional publications, and participates in professional societies to establish personal network and benchmark state-of-the-art practices.
  • Attendance is an essential function of this position and we rely on all our employees to be at work during their scheduled shift.


  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science and/or 7+ years of experience in similar capacity.
  • Certified in one or more of CISSP, CISM, NIST or CCSP.
  • Experience in vulnerability scanning tools and firewall management.
  • Experience in multi-channel retailing and/or supply change management a plus.
  • Displays a high degree of motivation, dedication, and team orientation.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects with a supporting staff and regularly meets all deadlines. Demonstrates willingness to go beyond the normal call of duty.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills with strong customer focus.
  • Adept process management, project management, problem solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Microsoft platform experience required (SQL Server, Windows Servers, Terminal Server, Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, Office, etc.)
  • Wide-Area-Networking using SD-WAN.
  • Cloud computing experience in outsourcing applications and datacenter functions required.
  • Displays high level of attention to detail specifically as it relates to security, system availability, and technical support service level agreements.
  • Fully understands the value of providing the highest standard of customer service.
  • Innovative thinker with a unique ability to get to the root cause of the problem and execute a workable solution who is always looking for value-added results by leveraging technology.
